Eric has been playing the piano from the age of 10... not always well, but playing, nonetheless. Music was, and still is, a chief form of stress release for this Ohio native. Originally born in Cincinnati, OH, Eric studied piano under "Mr. Gordon," a simple and soulful man who played for Churches on Sundays. He would, in fact, be one of the most influential people in Eric's life, as to this day, the piano is one of the most important pieces of his life.
Later in life, Eric began writing and composing. At first, simple pieces, but later moving into complicated orchestrations of all type and manner... from film scores, to pop songs. Some of Eric's biggest influences musically include Ben Folds (the master of all things piano), Randy Newman, Marc Cohn, Billy Joel, and David Foster.
Eric has scored music for Spotlight Enterprises, written a rock song for "This Side of Blonde" (formerly "The Toys"), and countless compositions for himself that the world will never hear.
Chiefly the goal was, and always has been, to keep using music as a release, a catharsis and a way of exploring what moves us as human beings... that and it makes sitting in traffic much more enjoyable.
